We need all of the countries in the world. Africa is not ours to give away. America doesn't own Africa. Africa is its own seperate entity. For your information, Africa is a beautiful place full of amazing people and animals.

In today's global economy America does need the African countries and their markets, and China too. America is still in the position to do trade with the African countries, and it can be a lot more fair than the Chinese in who they deal with. If you think "you" are in a position to give away any continent to anyone you are deluding yourself. Perhaps you need to look deeper - there are parts of China and the U.S.A. that are "not nice places" either.

1. We don't own Africa so cannot give it to any country
2. We need raw materials from S Africa and Nigeria and depend on the moderate N African (most of them, anyway) countries to get our ideas out to the Muslim world - the rest is of no major concern other then preventing disease from spreading to the modern world
3. China is only interested in getting raw materials for her ever expanding industry - not in control of territory like the Soviet Empire was
We need parts of Africa. We don't care a whole lot about where China gets her raw materials as long as she is part of the global economy and not against it.
