Small business do not often have the resources for professional consultation. Often times consultation is seeked through networks and peers. Would a yahoo answers forum for small business needs be helpful?

Would it be helpful to have guest experts from either large corporations that were once small business? Also guest experts of up and coming small business that may be sharing the same concerns/issues.

I know what she means. There is a section for small business but some of the questions on here don't relate to small businesses and entrepreneurs. They need to create a separate category for general business and keep one for small business.
The "experts" on here are mostly involved in At-Home businesses and MLM. The advice they give is great but not useful for people who aren't in that type of industry. Most small businesses run from a home office but don't work primarily over the Internet - many experts on here only work on the Internet. I can see a need for forums/special guest answerer's for small businesses and entrepreneurs. The experts shouldn't be the normal "experts" who answer the same questions with the same answers 100 times a day. They must have the answer already filled out and just cut and paste. No offence to the great contributors on here - the information they give people is invaluable. We just need to tailor this small business section so that it addresses more specific needs of smaller businesses.

Many of the people that answer the questions in the Small Business section are experts. If you are looking for something more than Yahoo Answers you might want to hire a consultant.

peops i think she means a seperate just for business not section but page or program, yes i think it would be good to get peer info but it would be even better if there were certain experts who answered the questions as well
