Iran believed it was their waters, and they have support from several nations in that regard who also have as sophisticated GPS as we do!
No they aren't stupid! They did what any other nation would do if a gunboat of an enemy entered their water! There reaction hasn't been great, however neither was Bush;s! GB essentially told him to butt out, that they would solve it through diplomacy, not rockets!

If you are referencing the capture of the 15 British soldiers I think it would be premature to call Iran stupid. At first I was puzzled why Iran would do this but I have a theory. The simple answer is that it diverts the world's attention away from their continued enrichment of uranium. They aren't stupid -- I think this move was cold and calcuated message to Britian to remove its presence from the region, and a distractor for people to forget about nuclear weapons.

Iranians are stupid. I read a story abot the Iran-Iraq war and read that in the middle of combat they stopped fighting knelt down and did their daily prayers. I guess inbetween prayers they go cut off heads, hang people, plant bombs, and throw rocks.

yeah yes Iran is stupid. why should i care.i have satellite to give me evidence which might be correct, i have air fighter to bash them up with precession targets and of course some time off targets too. ha ha die all i will be watching my news and believe what it has to say with soft and sympathetic sounds and emotions, and i will sorry for all .
