The Mask was a lot more fun. The cartoon antics, the music and the better cast all added up to a sure winner. I do hate the fact they have censored the film these days. The original was fun and not that bad.
Dumb & Dumber was just dumb. The characters were annoying (but did have their moments). The cruelity was too offensive (selling a dead parakeet to a blind boy is the worst example).

Dumb and dumber kills the mask, much more funny, but personally I like him more in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
