My bf really likes when I wear pantyhose. i do not like them that much but this is going to be a special day and I was thinking of taking our relationship to the next level.

Of course you should wear hosiery. Hosiery adds class, sophistication, style, and sexiness to every outfit. You'll be surprised how much more attention your L'eggs will get compared to your bare legged counterparts.

Well actually with that kind of dress you really don't need to wear pantyhose.....but if you want to wear some then you should buy a very light nude tone.....also make sure that the pantyhose are Ultra Sheer...because the sheerer the hose, the less noticable they will be on your legs.......Now for the part about goin to the next level, please think about what you are doing....You really should wait longer to have that kind of relationship because right now that guy is probably too immature and will probably hurt you, so this might not be the best thing for you...If he really loves you then he can wait a few more years at least until you get your education out of the way.....Anyways i hope you make the right decision.....take care....

You'll respect yourself more for not giving it all away (that includes how much you show with clothing... or lack thereof) until you belong to that one special person in marriage; so will God, other people (whether or not they are even decent), and even this bf. Please don't rush into a foolish decision that is permanent over a prom, this guy, or a moment's maybe-pleasure. What kind of GUY is so concerned with pantyhose, anyway?

The MAN that cares about your long-term well being will commit to you forever-- and wait for you to complete your education.

Listen to wisdom, sistergirl.

First of all, we have to separate the issues, you are blending topics between what to wear and what to do.

The dress in the link, under no circumstances would you wear pantyhose with a design such as this, the design is intended to show your legs, so that means you would not want to cover them up panty hose and if you did, certainly not colored hose such as black or white. You would have to go with a "flesh tone".

This style of dress projects movement and flow, colored hose would make it look like a Halloween costume, which it does anyway, so you want to distract from the costume look. And to focus on the dress, you want to wear heels that are strappy. Pumps are a no-no in this case. You didn't tell us what color dress you want to wear, if you pick black, then go with a strappy black, maybe silver shoe. If you pick the red/orange, depending on your skintone, you may want to get a strappy shoe that is dyeable and match the color of the dress. And a really cute little After 5 handbag: black dress, black shoe, silver metallic bag to pick up the accents on the dress, red/orange dress, match the shoes, or silver and a silver bag.

Since this is a prom, I am under the impression you are in high school. Be more concerned with looking fabulous, as in hair and makeup, and accessories, a sparkling necklace and similar bracelet will do, everything revolves around the dress, so don't go over board with accessories.

Forget about taking your relationship to the next level, what?, why? because it is a Prom? . You have your whole entire life to take a relationship, if you want to call it that, to the "next level". If you are having questions about your dress and pantyhose, clearly you are not ready to go to "the next level" whatever that may be in your case.

While we like to wear things that our boyfriends "like" that doesn't mean you throw off an entire ensemble because he likes pantyhose, and this dress screams "no colored hose", if he likes you, then he will be ok and tickled that you look glamourous. Be sure to "scuff" up the bottoms of your shoes before you go out, buy shoes that won't hurt your feet nor make you walk differently than you normally do.

Because this is a special occassion, stick to the special occassion, let the focus be on the Prom, on your dress, looking great and feeling fabulous and having a good time. Best wishes.

No. Pantyhose would not look good with the way that dress is cut. And when you say "taking our relationship to the next level" I assume you mean sex. I'm sorry, but if you're still young enough to be shopping for a prom dress you're also too young to be having sex. You'll regret it when you get older.

Wow, a guy who likes pantyhose...that's different. I really don't think that dress would look good at all with white or black. If anything, wear some somewhat transparent skin tone colored ones.

Well, if you wish to wear pantyhose, I would suggest you go for neither black or white, go with Suntan color especially L'eggs range. Their colors are suitable for the dress and I think you will look good in them. Don't go for stockings with garters cos the slit is high, unless u are feeling 'naughty' that day. All the best!

no way!! u'd ruin a very pretty dress, and i don't understand y ur bf likes it better when u wear pantyhose, like dosen't he like touching ur bare legs instead? i think thats wayy sexier! anyways, u could take it to the next level with ur bf anytime, but prom is a very special night and u have to look ur best, so please leave the pantyhose behind. any way they're very annoying while ur dancing, do u wanna keep pullin them up every five minutes? just don't do it plz, it'll look very bad. pantyhose don't look good with any prom dress, especially black or white. well good luck, nd i hoped i helped!!

I guess it depends how your legs are. I, personally, would but only because my legs are hideous lol, but if you feel comfortable without them, go without.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but unless you are wearing close toed shoes, do not wear them. if you are wearing something sandal-y, DO NOT WEAR HOSE. it looks tacky.

Also, I agree with some of the others who answered you. I'd put off doing anything along the lines of "taking the relationship to the next level." and if you do, you should make sure he's the one for you. I know that's not really anything you were asking about, but I just felt it needed to be said.
