Take the side cover off your computer and have a look at the cable of the cd burner. It is a wide grey cable. If its not plugged into the motherboard, then plug it in. The computer should then recognize it and it should work.

It is entirely possible that you have a CD/DVD ROM Drive. They don't write. You can't burn without a CD/DVD RW. You didn't say what your computer has for hardware, so I just have to assume you don't have a writer.

try unstalling the drivers it will install again automaticly i had this same problem if u want the step on how to do this send me a message or im me
