No it has not been solved. About 60 people falsely confessed to the murder, but they were just that...false. To this day the murder remains unsolved. The real killer of "The Black Dahlia" (Elizabeth Short) is presumed to be long dead since the murder occured in 1947.

Unfortunately the Black Dahlia murder has not yet been solved. I believe they have it pinned down to a few suspects who might have done it but there are lacking indisputable proof. It is going to be very hard to solve since probably all the main characters are dead.
