Nickelback is a good band but they are certainly not metal. They're about as metal as an 80s hair band.

Metal? They're like a 21st century glam band.
And they could use a hair more talent. I think Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed and System Of A Down are way better rockers than they are.
They are kinda tied with 30 Seconds To Mars, Exies, Saliva, and a few other cookie-cutter-sounding wannabees that need better songs.

They're not heavy metal... You should compare them to Lamb of God, Megadeath, and Iron Maiden

Nickleback is so not heavy metal...its more like Rock/alternitave...type of music.

theyre far from being heavy metal...maybe alternative rock, but they aint even all that great in the first place
