so, I'm dumb. I won't give you the back story, but I need to know if there's a Rod Stewart song that sounds a lot like an Eagles song, or vice versa. Name both the songs please. Thanks!

if you mean sounds like as in vocal--there is no way to confuse Rod with any of the Eagles vocalists. Now as for a song that COULD have recorded by one or the other there might be a couple- lessee um Country Comforts by Rod
I'm Losing You (Maybe) . Man you got my curiosity up about this. sure would like more info. I happen to enjoy the eagles and Rod (not his do ya think I'm sexy days though) please enlighten me. This is something I have never heard of.
but I know that Rod sounds like Bonnie Tyler in some of his songs. Mark knoffler of Dire Straits sounded like Bob Dylan when DS recorded sultans of swing. so ya never know-ya may be on to something.

I can't think of two songs, one by each artist, that sound like each other. The vocals are too far off.

However, I think Reason To Believe by Rod Stewart sounds like something the Eagles would ace with Don Henley at the mic.
