Ok my teacher one day asked our class who likes M*A*S*H? I raised my hand and so did this stupid girl Kiethy Urban. She raised her hand and said she did. He didn't seem to notice me and he started talking to her. I couldn't believe it. She doesn't even know that the Veiatnam war hapened. I know this because one day she asked did the veitnam war happen and she was like no. When it did happen but i'm trying to say that that's what M*A*S*H is about. So how can she be a mASH watcher? My second question is how can my teacher Mr. chubbycheeks not notice how much I like MASH. Every week I wear my MASH shirt. I talk about it in front of him. Is he blind or deaf? Please explain to me is my teacher just plain stupid? or does he hate me?

Actually, MASH was about the Korean War, honey.

Anyway, who knows WHY people do the things they do. Some teachers play favorites, it's true. But don't let it bother you. Doubtless, you are some other person's favorite - whether it's a teacher or secret crush. Can't be everyone's bff everytime. Trying to be will just wear you out. Don't even think about it - it's not worth the time. Have fun in school!

Okay, first of all, MASH takes place during the Korean Conflict, almost twenty years before the Vietnam war. So, I'm sure you can see that everyone has something they don't know - it doesn't make them stupid.

Secondly, maybe the teacher knows that this girl has social problems; and he wanted to show a little kindness toward her. If you will also, I'm sure your turn will come as well.

The TV series M.A.S.H was set duing the Koren War not Vietnam.
From Amazon....
Product Description
The 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital is stuck in the middle of the Korean war. With little help from the circumstances they find themselves in, they are forced to make their own fun. Fond of practical jokes and revenge, the doctors, nurses, administrators, and soldiers often find ways of making wartime life bearable. Nevertheless, the war goes on.

As the previous guy said, MASH was about the Korean conflict. How much of a fan of that show can you really be if you don't even know that much. Maybe your teacher can't see you when you wear your MASH attire. After all, it is camoflage.

Try not to take it personally. Maybe your teacher was just glad that this other student was contributing to class discussion? I am a teacher (I teach college students) and I know it's always a challenge to get students to answer my questions and discuss the topic of the day. You give the impression that the other girl in your class isn't exactly an "A" student. Maybe the teacher was just happy that she had SOMEthing to say and wanted to encourage her? If your teacher continues to not call on you/ignore your raised hand, I'd talk to him about it. On the other hand, if teacher often calls on you, keep in mind that he might be trying to be fair by calling on everyone equally?

He knows you know about it. He called on her because he wanted her to have a chance at talking about it, so she would learn.
