The Wicked Witch was in crusted with salt all over her body ,that is the one you saw that is melting,She have a boyfriend ,so obviously she takes a bath.

She didn't melt according to WICKED (the musical).
It was a ploy. They threw water on her and she sneaked out through a secret door. She did that so she could escape with the scarecrow...

She just zapped herself zestfully clean. Magic is also good for reheating pizza and making Brad Pitt look-alikes that actually try to chat you up.
