I'm going to college at 58. History is easy because you have lived most of it. Science is bad because there are more moons and less planets now. English is easier without the stone tablets.

Yes and no. I went to college as an adult at 40+ years and it was hard to get back into the study mode. But I also had more of an incentive and motivation because I was tired of living from one job to another. Hence a degree. If you had asked me in High School if I would ever love going to class and learning I would have said No way! I loved college and actually liked studying and many times found myself staying up at night cramming for tests. It was quite a reward to get that degree.

Unfortunately I'm unable to work now, but it was still quite an accomplishment.

Probably in some ways, and yet I think that when you reach an older age than the typical college student, your interests tend to be more in line with the person you are and therefore you can focus on what you truly want to do. I'm going to be 27 this year and I'm hoping to be able to go back to college really soon, and I finally know what I want to do. I'm a writer :)

Yes I think it would be harder ....I know there are many things I have forgotten over the years and I would have a time trying to remember them.
I hated homework too

Yes and no. It's harder to get motivated to start and all, but most often adults go to school to increase their salary and live a better life, so it makes it worth while. Plus, it's your choice now!

No. I am returning to school this summer for another degree but I have always loved school.
I am hoping to fairly quickly get a degree in Accounting.

No, dear. Sometimes it is easier to concentrate on the class, as opposed to the class mates. Unfortunately the on-line classes are wayyyy toooo close to the playground (Y!A, for example) LOL.

Yes ... because you have to remember how to study all over again ... and no ... because you have all of life's experiences to help you out -- something the newbies don't have! Good luck!

I think it is easier. You are more focused and realize McD's isn't where you want to work the rest of your life. That is motavation enough!
