Yes,
a fart is a few types of energy:
1: chemical energy. It contains methane gas, which is highly flamable and sometimes explosive in certain concentration. If you fart on a lighted match (and I do not recommend this), the match will flare up, depending on the concentration of the methane. Of course, contrary to what you might have heard, the ratio of methane to oxygen, once it is exposed to air is not sufficient to make any type of explosion
A fart is also potential energy, as in unignited gas.

A fart is also kinetic energy. The motion of the gas being expelled from your body generates a small amount of energy.

If a fart is warm, it also generates thermal energy

The next time you have to 'FART', pull down your pants, bend over and hold a lighted match/lighter near you know what, then you'll see if it's energy!!!

It is a gas. The gas is formed in the digestive tract. If the pressure of the gas in your body is too high, the gas will exit your body.
