The on/off light on my Photosmart R727 will not go off

1)Take Out the print cartridges
2)Unplug the Pwer chord from the printer while it is ON....Wait for 1 Minute
3)Replug the power chord and insert the cartridges.
Check if the On light goes OFF..

Or immediately call HP

I don't know the answer to your question, but within the past two weeks I had a problem with my HP - e-mailed for help - received a response within two hours - referred me to a fix -- they e-mailed back with a follow-up to see if it worked for me.

e-mail HP. They offer good support.
