I think the trick is to NOT look for it outside yourself, meaning in other people or worldly things. Like don't look for another person to make you happy, and don't keep buying "stuff" (accumulating things, or getting lots of money) believing that will do it. Go barefoot, seek natural things, be naked more often, and dance like no one is watching! Also talk to God sometimes, even if you don't think He's listening.

When you are able to like yourself, all other things fall into place. Insecurity is a separate thing. It is the way you percieve the outer world and your place in it that makes you either at ease in it or insecure.

I have always been more comfortable with myself than people realize, and I think it's because I've always just been myself, no matter what. No matter what anyone else thinks, I am always JUST ME. And if other people don't like it, they can kiss my white girl @ss! ;)
I've spent quite a bit of time with my best friends and alone with my own thoughts to come to this conclusion, and I love me! :)

By being by yourself, playing arcade games. Giving up on things you would like to find out that life is mostly boring.

Taking a relaxing warm bath and spending some time alone at night.
And I find lots of that here, on P&S.
Many questions do that for me
