let myself have the weekend to stay in bed and watch tv (sad movies that make me cry) and sleep and eat ice cream; then pick myself up, dust myself off and get busy with friends and work and my house and exercising and choosing to be happy!

Try to keep yourself busy do stuff that keeps you away from your mind dwelling on certain aspects that are causing you depression. Listen to some upbeat music get yourself involved in some group activities join a gym. Really depression most of the time is just mental fatigue that your to wrapped up in stuff that is wrong or is just hurting you. Get out of the house don't close yourself off from social contact this will just worsen the circumstances. Really if it is severe talk to your Dr. ASAP.
Consider talking to a crisis line or prayer line or seek some therapy.

God Bless and Good Luck

I have a spot near a dam, with running water that spills over the dam. The sound is so soothing, and relaxing. I can go there.....hardly anybody is ever there, relax, and let my mind wander. I can think, pour out my soul to the waters, and walk away feeling rested, not depressed or down. Something about the water, the solitude, and the peacefulness of the place, helps me to overcome all problems....or at least deal with them. Find you such a place in your area, and go there often. Good Luck!!

I call my kids...visit the grandchildren....my problems don't seem to be so big after visiting them. My grandchildren give me a reason to smile, esp, after hearing "NANA, I "UV" YOU"
