What does it mean to be a good citizen ?

What does it take to be good Citizen I mean do you have to vote is that being a good citizen or do you have to be community helper what is all involve and who do we consider to be good citizen as examples for I our future children should want to grow up and be like or what do we want them to be?

Being a good citizen = abeying all the rules voteing, helping others without pay, being friendly, courtesious, kind, and just being normal.
