When somebody says this to you, do you for a split second think they're truly going to ask something TOO personal?

Well it depends on the person who's asking and their criteria. Maybe someone would rate as personal something which you don't think is personal, or vice versa. Besides, just oz they ask doesn't mean you have to answer, you can actually say "Nah, that's TOO personal".

Yes, I do think they are going to ask something really personal and private which shouldn't be discuss. If it is too personal I say no, but if it is something trivial then I answer it.

Yes, I usually figure it's not only going to be extremely personal, but will probably be insulting as well..then I'm usually surprised because it turns out to be something not deeply personal at all.

usually its personal.
most usually when people say that to me its

"Have you done drugs before"
"Have you been with a woman before"

so, yes, naturally I think they are going to ask me something personal.

Yes, and I usually give them the 'if you dare to hear the answer' look, then just wait and hope my bluff works!
