Its possible to get pregnant anytime you have sex even with protection. If your not ready to accept the consequences of your actions (pregnancy, HIV AIDS STDs) then you shouldn't be having sex. Pregnancy is very easy to prevent, its called keeping your pants on until your are in a stable relationship, preferably marriage. Is he worth risking your life over? because some things you can get from sex can kill you. Is he worth losing your ability to have children in the future? Is he worth having a baby at the wrong time in your life and 17 is much to young to have a baby? if not then stop having sex right now and wait until you are more mature!

There is NO method of birth control that is 100% effective and condoms are some of the worst.
NO method of birth control will protect you from STD's.
Best choice for your health: ABSTINENCE
You might very well be pregnant. Condoms often break and people don't always use them properly.

this is your first time having sex. I think your just nervous and stress which is causing your period to be late, if it is late you never really said why you could be pregnant. You don`t know for sure if the condom broke right? or maybe the jerk took it off with out you knowing and lie that it broke? need more info why you think you are pregnant.

why do you think it broke? and why do you think you're pregnant? are you late or something?
They guy would know if the condom broke. When he took himself out and took off the condom, he would realize that it tore and that the semen had not be caught in the condom. Condoms are pretty safe, and I really wouldn't worry too much about it. But you are always welcome to go buy a pregnancy test and put your mind at ease.

No form of birth control is 100% effective. You should probably get on the pill, which will still not protect you against STD's.
ALWAYS use a condom.

Condoms are generally effective if used properly. Why do you think it broke and why do you think you are pregnant? PS - Properly used condoms are far more than 30% effective. If they weren't, nobody would use them.

You are a moron. Why are you having sex at 17 and not married? You deserve to be pregnant, but the baby does not deserve an airhead like you. Grow up!
