I would make the other Earth a place without wars or anything like that. Peace :)

I don't think it would debunk Creationism at all. But other than that, if the life forms on the "other" Earth were more intelligent and far more advanced, we would need to hope they were not hostile. If they were more advanced and also friendly, maybe they could help us to advance also. But if there were creatures more advanced than us on another planet similar to Earth and in our solar system, they would have found us long ago, probably.
If there were creatures there that were not very advanced, or like an earlier Earth, we would probably go there and study it like we have done Earth for millions of years. Eventually we would try to go there and take whatever resources they had, build cities and destroy it, just as we are currently doing our own.

IF there were in THIS solar system another planet like Earth, with water, air, plants and so on, it would make space flight REALLY important, because we would have a destination worth reaching that is close enough to realistically reach.

Well I guess it would mess up the solar system. There might be no life at all or more life. Or it could just stay the same way. Oh yeah, the human race might not exist. Hopes that helps.

Not much, just somewhere to go to more, but The Apacolypse won't matter, if its in the "solar system", that Earth would die too, hey wait, can we name it Bob?!

You mean two planets with extensive life forms on them? I suppose it would mess up the Creationists big time, but that's the only impact which comes to mind.

That would be a good idea of having other earth. There would be less polution and more pollution on the other earth. And there would be green trees on our earth and other earth.

We would have visited them by now. I would imagine that if we knew there was a habitable world, with or without sentient life, that as soon as an unmanned probe had visited we would have put a massive effort to go there and colonise it.

You are right.
But it would have to orbit in the same habitable zone as Earth and so we would have discovered it long ago.

Depends where it was located. Do you mean in the same orbit as the earth? Or some other orbit?
