Its KG!!!

First off for you who said Duncan, Because he has won MVP, you must of been living in a cave when KG won MVP???

Second, for you who said Duncan, because he has the rings...Yea he also had David Robinson when he won the first one, and he also has Ginobli and Tony Parker, not to mention a Great Coach and a veteran team...
Look who KG, has had on his team over the years! put him in the same position as Duncan, and I promise you he also would have rings, The only time they surrounded him with talent is when they gave him, an old Sam cassell and a wore out Sprewell...and w/o them having time to get good chemistry, they made it to the West Conference finals, losing to Shaq and Kobe's Lakers.

You cant disagree with that! Also check out the stats below, KG avg over 4 apg with that roster! he doesn't have Parker and ginobli yet still avg more...Avg over 2 more RPG, And hes almost 20% better at the line than Duncan! Their you have, this is why KG is a better all around player.

This Years stats
APG RPG APG FG% FT%
Duncan 20.1 10.7 3.4 53.8 64.9
KG 22.8 12.9 4.1 48.3 83.7

Duncan is really a center with some forward skills.
Garnett is a forward, so Garnett is the winner for your question.

Kevin Garnett is an all around better defender than duncan and an offenseive player than duncan

well i'm gonna have to go to duncan here...he has the rings, MVPs and Finals-MVPs to prove it...he is very fundamentally sound...but we can't deny the fact that garnett is in a bad team...put duncan's teammates together with garnett and they will also have the same accomplishments...but as of now, it's duncan that has proven things...

Thats tough, I would give it to Duncan though. Garnett is freakishly talented, but he is too emotional. Duncan calmly dismantles the opposition and has the rings to prove it.

From an offensive perspective, they are close to even, but Duncan's defense makes him the better player, and goes a long way toward explaing the fact that his team "just seems to win".

i would say duncan. he has an MVP and Trophy where Garnett doesnt. also i think offensivly he plays better but defense goes to KG
IF KG would get on a good team i think he could win a trophy and possibly MVP

Count the rings, DUNCAN for sure. He had a great teacher in David Robinson.
