I'm sure that there are a lot of compounds that either melt or evaporate or that something happens to something, but in general, 50°C is not a temperature of significance. The Celsius scale is based on the freezing (0) and boiling (100) points of water only, but has no other important definitions.

It all depends, what is the pressure? Science likes to look at all variables of a problem and whenever one speaks of temperature the pressure of the system is an important variable.
