As funny as this question sounds, and I surely laughed out loud when I first read it, this hits the core of why so many Americans(republican americans) voted for and still try to excuse and make sense of all of his blundering. Many years ago, watching an evangelical preach, George Bush recognized the power of the pulpit. I find it amazing just how many people rush to join the bandwagon when a politician uses his "faith" as a campaign issue. By saying "GOD" told him he was doing the right thing by going to Iraq was just a way to exploit the total gullability of those who voted for him.
If there is anyone out there who seriously thinks that every single thing that this administration has done is not politically and monetarily motivated, and was well ochestrated from day one, needs to get thier own heads out of the Bible and realize that it is the same reason that so many terrorist believe that what they are doing is right! But they too like Bush, hide behind religion to justify their own selfish and horrible actions. Bush and the terrorist of the world are sadly......
no different at all!
This question is a whole lot more serious than some may think! More people need to start thinking!

Bush says he listens to God in order to get votes from Christians. But if he really did, he'd opposed the death penalty and be more concerned about the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the poor in general. There would be no concern about the war in Iraq, because if Bush did listen to God, I believe he wouldn't have sent our troops to die for a lie. WMD what? Osama who?God is love, not war. And not war when we were never even attacked by Iraq...

Steph - it is over yet. To win or lose it requires the end has happened. If God told every leader how to win, the US would not have lost 407,300 people & the world over 25 million during WWII.
3,258 are too many but compared to over 407,300, I think President Bush & the military are doing excellent jobs.

George Bush is a godless man. Don't let anyone fool you, in fact look up some of the people he has dinned with at the White house. A porn star, Ozzie Osbourne. It's amazing. Even seen live footage of him drunk at a wedding. It was a hoot.

Maybe He is telling him. Everyone thinks they know how to do the war thing but they don't. Who is to say the war isn't going like it should be, we can't see the future.

God told him to stay there and kill Muslims. Except maybe he was being sucked in by Allah. Those two gods are tricky buggers.
