i am a big fan of the platinum emerald cut or princess cut. One single solitare. I also love infinity bands. I am left handed and pretty much any ring gets in my way, so i prefer bands and rings that don't stick up. I lalso love the three stone style with the larger center diamond and two side diamonds that are smaller but the same shape.

I personally love a square cut stone, it's different but not untraditional. I've seen several examples where the sides or the band came up two sides of the stone, meaning no prongs to catch on things. It's a cut best suited for strong simple settings.
