Not the most adventurous thing, but it makes for a good story without any background details.
In high school or jr high me and a friend were at a highschool basketball game that neither of us really cared about and we were sitting at the very top of the bleachers and there were windows up there and about three feet below them was a lower roof. The windows opened just enough that a small person could wriggle through and drop to the next roof. So we got these people to sit in front of the windows so it wasn't obvious to everyone in the gym what we were doing and we climbed out onto the roof and roamed around the top of the school for a little while. Much more entertaining than high school basketball.

Going to a decent sized city about an hour away from home when I had never driven in any more traffic than about five cars before. Also the first time I drove on the interstate by myself.

Got married. It worked out great though.
Also went trekking in Nepal in the Annapurna range with my wife. no porters- It was terrific.
