You all helped me out of a relationship and while I know I have a ways to go- your words of encouragement go a long way- I will move on someday-

You are moving on now.....each day is different, one day you will be miserable, the next you will be angry and the next probably feeling sorry for yourself. Grief takes time and there are a lot of emotions you have to get through. You are only just starting your journey.....at the moment the light at the end of the tunnel is only very small, but with time and the further you move up the track that light becomes bigger, then one day when you least expect it, you will surrounded in daylight....you will be out of the tunnel and really ready to move on with your life.
One thing that is very important in this whole grieving process is allowing yourself time to grieve....dont try to move on too soon.....sometimes you have to let the feelings of grief wash over you....you have to cry, you have to feel sad if the grieving process is to work properly. You will know when it is time to pick yourself up and rejoin life again. Give yourself the time to feel sad and dont judge yourself too harshly. Have you got a good friend you can talk to about how you are feeling? A good friend will allow you to be sad...alllow you to cry.....they will also know when to pick you up and give you direction. Just go with the flow, take one day at a time and you will eventually emerge from your tunnel a much stronger and vibrant person than you ever thought possible. It will happen, just tell yourself that all the time....tell yourself that nothing ever stays the same. Tell yourself that you will not always feel this way. Time does heal....its true

Just be careful out there it can be a very cruel world at times. If and when you do go make sure you know where and what your going to get into before you take the big step.
