I think you answer this question by age....What I mean is this...Before I decided to answer this question I looked at the answers people gave and they gave young answers. You don't put an age on love it just happens and age doesn't mean a thing it's just numbers and doesn't say one thing about the person. My wife just turned 29 and I'm going to be 50 in may we have been together for 10yrs in October. I don't act old I drive a vette and listen to rock so what does that tell you.........It should tell you to look at the person's heart, mind and soul and forget age other wise you miss out on someone special.

My husband and I are 2 years apart. In my opinion 15 or more years apart would be too big of an age difference for me.

My husband and I are 2 weeks apart in age. My parents are 2 years apart in age. My grandparents were 9 years apart in age. And my best friend is married to a man 12 years her junior (he's actually closer to me in age than he is to her because she is 18 years my senior). If you love each other, there is no difference in age that matters.
Just remember that while someone who is 17 right now might be really in love with someone who is 27, but they might never be able to work out their relationship. There are a lot of differences in maturity and in the things that someone else believes or does in their life that is a part of their age and background.

My Hubby and I are 5 years apart. He is older then I am. I think that the age difference between the man and the woman differs in each relationship. Only you know how much of a difference is too much.

Mine is 5 years younger than me and when we first started dating, our age difference showed big time. Honestly I didnt think it was going to work but he grew up a little and now it doesnt bother me at all anymore. I dont think it really matters so much about the number it matters about the maturity level. by the way I am 27 and he is 22. When we started dating I was 23 and he was 18. I can not explain why I started dating him at first but now I feel like I have the best, most caring loving man!

I don't think age has to do with being in love with someone. Just as long you are mature enough to know what you want out of life that's all that counts. I know people that are 15-20 years older from the other and they are very happily married.

It depends on your age at this time. As people are in their 20's and older, there aren't many problems with people being as much as 10 years apart. Maturity has a lot to do with it. Good luck.

I'm 6 months older. Age is just a number, but what is important is how you relate to each other. Personally, I think anything over 15 yrs difference needs SERIOUS second thoughts.
