I know the answer, I just want to see if you can figure it out.
What kind of turtle is this?
It has white colored skin with black spots on it, and the groves on it's back appear diamond shaped. What kind of turtle?

Is semi-aquatic, like most turtles.

Diamondback Terrapin, and actually, mostly aquatic, preferring brackish water, ranging from Florida all the way up to the Chesapeake Bay area. Beautiful, beautiful turtles, and we were lucky enough to be grandfathered in on being allowed to keep a pair. (Threatened species here in Florida.) Very social when it comes to people... of course it could just be the "ooh, maybe they'll feed us" factor, but still...... I love 'em.

i Really would like to see a picture, but i guess other people would cheat, so i think the turtle is either a snapping turtle or a diamondback terrapain.
