I met my fiance with whom i have 2 beautiful boys with off the internet. I met him in a yahoo chat room we talked online and on the phone for months. I went to meet him 4 hours away and it was love at first sight. We're still together 5 years later!!

Out with work mates at a Karaoke club having some beers.
Well that was back in 1998 been married almost 8yrs. It is strange where you may find the soul-mate for you. If you haven't already had that happen for you it is just around the corner. One thing I can tell you is that love finds you when your not searching for it!

I met my husband at a country bar in Jacksonville, Fl.
My sister and I were friends with a couple of guys and they knew we always went dancing...
Anyway... My sister and I were sitting down and this guy came up to ask if we knew this guy Jimmy... I said yes and then began dating this guy and we were engaged 3 months later and married 11 months later!
Been married now for almost 10 years on June 21st!

I was a bartender at a strip club and she was a dancer. Beautiful girl too. Boy was I dumb (but live and learn).
Marriage lasted less than four months, she was physically abusive and financially ruined me, it took me years to recover from the emotional devastation and to forgive her and move on.
Not the answer you were looking for, I'm sure, but thought I'd chime in with this as a cautionary tale: sometimes it *does* matter where you meet someone. :)

We met in the nice little pub in the center of town. We have a mutual friend. We chatted for awhile but he left without getting my number. I was a little bummed. Later I got a myspace friend request from him. He had tried to add me before but I denied him (twice actually.) Funny how things work out.

In college-7, almost 8 years ago, and we are still together! One night I was on my way over to the guy's dorms to meet on of my buddies, when he jumped out and started talking. We walked all over campus and stopped in this little wooded area by the little chapel and he asked if he could kiss me...I said, "If you promise to come to my show". He promised and we kissed...it was like a scene in a movie. He never came to my show, though.

I met my husband at work. Now we have been married for 6 yrs and going strong.

My husband came to my house when I was 15 years old to hang out with my older brother. Ahhh... he was so handsome, in his freshly ironed uniform. (He had just joined the Marines) I knew instantly that I wanted this man. My sister assured me that he would never glance my way. But to her surprise and mine, he called a couple days later and asked me to a movie. And 5 years later... here we are. Married for 2 years and very, very happy!!!

I met the man of my dreams at work. I hired him on and things got pretty frisky at work. So he had to find another job of course. But we have been together for 8 years now. He's the best.
