does anybody remember when milk came in glass bottles

Barely.When I was growing up we would take our milk gallon containers and go to the dairy farm and dip our milk out of this big machine.Every time we got a glass of milk we had to stir it up first,because all the cream would settle to the top.It was so good though.

Yes I remember them and milk was so much better in the bottles.

Yeah, I am old enough to remember that. I really miss the great taste of milk in glass. Cardboard is not the same. Or plastic.

It still does come in glass bottles in UK, mostly delivered by the milk man.

yes, we used to get milk in glass delivered by the milkman til I was about 14. That would be mid 70's.

I still have some. How about the small glass ones they served in the school cafeteria. Got some of those too. But then I'm a collector.

No but I do remember when my mom bought it in a card board box type thing and it would have a missing kids picture on it. I would stare at that picture and think wonder who took them
