Many do, yes. Most of the fish commonly kept in the hobby are herbivores or omnivores and would eat various vegetables including lettuce. In fact, it's actually very good for them to get some fresh vegetables in their diet from time to time. You would need to research your specific fish to see if it applies to you.

It depends. Some fish like plecos for example like it while others of the same species don't. Your fish may or may not like it. Try experimenting with different foods till you figure out what they like. Hope this helps.

maybe depends were the freshwater is most freshwater fish like potatoes (french fries) corn bread what ever gets tossed in by bypassers i know they love stuff with 10w30 motoroil due to poll.
