Not taking the pill on time does lessen its effectiveness. This is especially crucial if you are on a progestin-only pill, or a "mini-pill". If that is the case, you should definitely get some sort of EC like Plan B right away. You can take the morning after pill right away. If you live in a state where they are offered in most pharmacies, you should head there ASAP and pick up Plan B or head to your doctor or local clinic first thing tomorrow. A good idea, whichever option you choose, might be to pick up some extras so that if this happens in the future you can be prepared. Plan B's efficacy lessens the longer you wait but can be taken up to 3 days (recent research shows that it may be taken up to 5) after unprotected sex, so tomorrow morning will be fine. Good luck!

I have been on the pill for 9 years now. I have never taken it the same time ever day. It has been up to 12 hours different. My husband and I only use a condom when I miss it for a full day. Then you are supposed to take the 2 pills the next day and use alternive protection for a week. I do not have any children so it has worked for me. I have never used the moring after pill so sorry can not help you there. I hope this helps you.

It is very possible that you could be pregnant. I would not take the morning after pill because I have witnessed the side affects and its not pleasant. Stay calm. The only way to know your not pregnant is to not have sex. BUT....you should wait until the week when you are suppose to have your period. IF you do not get your period I would go to walmart and get a simple pregnancy test (they cost no more then 5 - 8 $), IF it says you are pregnant then you can go to your towns health department and they will give you MANY options on what to do!

ok firstly, start taking it at the right time. set an alarm on your watch or a daily reminder on your cell to take it!! the chances of you getting pregnant depends on where in your cycle you are. you have to take the morning after pill or plan b within 72 hours or 3 days of the unprotected sex. you can get it at planned parenthood. for future reference, if you're gonna take the pill AND use condoms, which is smart, at least take the pill the right way!

What is the time difference between the time you are supposed to take it and the time you do take it?

The closer to the time every day is the best, but you can be off by an hour or two and still be safe.
