I took a test 2 days ago and it was negative but last week I had sore nipples, my boobs felt full & looked veiny and I was starving all the time and moody. We started having sex a week after the miscarraige but could I actually get pregnant that quick?

I am sorry to hear about your loss I just had a miscarriage and had to have a D&C done so mine was completed on march 30. To answer your question I talked to my doctor about this because I want to try again and you can get pregnant again right away but he suggested that I wait at least 2 months prefferebly 4 now not to make you worry but my doctor told me that if you get pregnant before at least 2 months that you run a very high risk of miscarriage again because your uturus has not healed enough to hold another child.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. I just lost a baby of my own.

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant right after a miscarriage. For many women, their cycle quickly returns to normalcy.

Do you ever get PMS? Could that account for the breast tenderness and moodiness? If you don't usually get PMS then suspect pregnancy, and take a test again in a few days - early morning is best.

Good luck!
