Global warming is based in climate trends over long periods of time and across the planet. What you're experiencing in Michigan is a short term, local weather pattern. Besides, 25 degrees in Michigan in April isn't unusual - the average lows for this time of year are 32.

Also, global warming only warms the earth by a fraction of a degree each year so from one year to the next differences will be barely noticable - it's only over longer periods of time that changes become apparent.

These last few months most of the world has been experiencing above average temperatures, Michigan and surrounding areas are one of the few places where they've been normal. In eastern US and Canada they've been below average.

It's called Global Warming, not Michigan Warming. Also, don't confuse short-term variability with long-term trends.
