when is that u would start ur maternity leave if u are working the reason am asking is because i am on jobseekers which helps me find work or training which pays very little money and am not sure i would be fit because i might have high blood pressure plus i have been under lots of stress and when i had my last apt the midwife told me 2 try relax as much as possible am 20weeks pregnant now and not sure if work is the right option for me but i need the money and other things should i tell my superviser person the person (which i see every week on a monday)who is dealing with my jobseekers account that i might not be fit enough and give me till my apt with the midwife which is on the 10th april 2 discuss weither work is the option or not? do u think that would be allowed even tho my money that i get from them might be affected?

I would say working from home would be your best option... I was in the same situation and came across what you are going through now. Now I have two beautiful kids that I get to stay at home with every day... You can message or e-mail me for more info if you want.

It depends where you live.

In California, SDI maternity leave is typically from 4 weeks before your due date until 6 weeks after a vaginal birth.
