My girlfriend and i live together and i really don't feel like doing the dishes. I just honestly don't want to get up and do them.

If you don't like doing dishes that's okay, but you should try doing them so that way your girlfriend can be happy with you getting involved in the household chores. She will appreciate you even more for not only doing dishes, but for other things that she would like you to do as well.
My opinion with this though, you shouldn't (shack up) together, maybe want to consider in marriage and make it right. Seems like there is no commitment with the way things are going now for you and her. Plus, it will be more respectful for treating her like a woman not like someone off the streets with wanting her just for the sex. Don't get married if you are not ready to. Something to think about.

Okay, my guy and I live together, too. I would rather clean the toilet with my tongue than do the dishes. I hate them. So he agreed that he would do them. Well, about a week went by and I kept saying, "Are you gonna do the dishes?", and they just kept piling up. It got so bad, that one day I came home and he was asleep. By the bed there was a bowl with a coffee filter in it, and half a burrito. He actually put the coffee filter in the bowl to cover it up so he wouldn't have to wash it! So, I went in the kitchen and started doing the dishes and he woke up and got mad because I was doing them and he said, "I was going to do those!". LOL! (I am laughing as I write this). Just do the dishes. She will really appreciate it.

Yes you should.
However, if you don't want to do them and you see that your girlfreind does'nt want to either, them find a way to do them.
The thing here is to ..........complete the goal. Hire you a maid to do the dishes. If you don't want to spend the money on it, them get to busting suds.
Remember, your girl is not asking you to do the dishes, she's inviting you to be a part of home activities. Don't leave her alone to do it all.
Remember the way you practice is the way your going to play in the game.
Your not married yet, but your giving away clues which lead to conflict!

You should because you live there and eat there too. Second just cause she is a girl, does not mean she should. Third, she is your girlfriend. Shes your girlfreind! you shouldnt be living together. you should live on your own and do your own dishes, or live with mom and make her do the dishes, or just get paperplates...i live in a college dorm and thats what i do!
