Boxing and Hockey seem like they have no fans left compared to what they had when Wayne Gretzy for Hockey and Muhammad Ali for Boxing retired. Have these Sports gone from High-Profile to very low Profile. Especially Boxing. Is UFC bigger than Boxing now

Hockey Suck. Period. And in boxing, it seems like people only care about the heavyweight. Which is why the sport hasn't been relavent since Lennox Lewis retired. Boxing needs a heavyweight superstar fighting other superstars, which is not happening for quite a while. And no, the UFC is not bigger than boxing. Nor will it ever be.

Hockey lost a lot of fans with the most recent strike and low ticket sales. Hockey is received better up north though.
Boxing is and should be in the shadow. There are few big names in the sport and UFC/Pride fighting is much better and more fun to watch that boxing.

Hockey and soccer are NOT interesting sports. Not enough scoring and they're dominated by foreign guys. Boxing is lacking in big name talent these days. No Tyson's, Ali's, Frazier's, etc. it's tough to get excited about people you don't know.
UFC is huge right now because it's more physical than boxing and is very similar to WWE-type wrestling where the events are very well covered, there's great showmanship associated with it, and there's lots of blood. That's what people wanna see. The difference of course, is that these guys are getting their faces busted in for real.

hockey attendence has increased over the past year, everything in hockey has improved, but it hasnt reached the level of the nba, nfl, or mlb. all the big names is boxing retired so its no fun anymore. tennis will now decline since agassi is gone, now the only good american is roddick.
i actually like to watch hockey, i think its a great game, much better than soccer. you have the hitting contact of football, you have the puck moving at speeds similar to a baseball, you have the playmaking ability like in basketball, and you have big guys flying around at 30 mph on 1/8" of metal. hockey is a great sport, give it a chance like i did.
