Put them under cool running water, this helps stop your tissue from burning, and carry the heat away. It should also help them feel better.
After you do that for a while, put them in a dish of cool water to keep them from hurting. It also might help to keep them above your heart level.
Once you can keep them out of the water without them hurting so much, you could try putting aloe on them.
Don't use butter or anything like that, it keeps the heat in.
Don't use ice, it is too cold and will hurt your skin. Cool/cold water is cold enough.
Don't forget to take some pain medicine, like Tylenol or Advil or something!
Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

Put ice on them to relieve the pain, and then get some treatment. You will probably get blisters, and when they break, infection can set in. That's why it's important to get to the ER or a doctor as soon as possible. After the ice, cover the fingers loosely with gauze to keep the air away, and get some medical help.

Actually putting a burn in ice water, on ice, etc. only makes it hurt worse. You can run it under room temp. water to ease the pain. The best solution is to take some Advil and then purchase some burn ointment, put it on and cover the burns. It should start to ease relatively quickly.

I did the same thing on one finger today too. Cold water and aloe is a start. Make sure u put burn cream on it and if it blisters don't pop them. Gauze will feel better than a band-aid

put toothpaste on it to soothe the pain. Don't rub it on anything. Go to the store and get an aloe plant and rub the juices of the jello-ey leaf stuff on your fingers. Also, make sure you wash it often and put anti-bacterial on it. Sorry! Ow..it must hurt alot!

sounds like you have a first degree burn. if it has blister then its a second degree burn. run cool water on it. after its cooled down use a burn cream. make sure to keep the area clean. when you have a burn the skin breaks down and can allow bacteria to get into the burnt area. other then that you have to just suck it up hope it feels better.

Start by putting your fingertips in cool water. This helps bring the heat down. Once they have cooled down, wrap them with something that will keep the air off of them. This is what's causing the pain. Do not put anything on them, such as grease, butter, vasaline, etc.

you may need to call your Dr for burn cream. Immerse the fingers in a glass of ice water to help immediate stinging.
