Queen Anne's legs were fashionable on our tables - but more recently I do believe that Queen Elizabeth 2 has certainly had an impact on the production of windsor lace cushions and nets. King Elton though has had the greatest influence on the UK soft furnishings industry - he alone keep our national pillow factories going . we use them to fasten over our heads to stop us hearing his god awful music
