My frends husband has been staying with someone else for the past 2 years. His lawyer sent a letter stating that come May 2007 he would be filing for divorce having been 2 years seperated. If she agrees to this how long would it take until she was legally divorced?

mine took 3 yrs but my ex wanted to fight over everything including the plants in the yard and it wasnt even our yard

Depends mainly on custody issues if there are children. It could take up to a year or longer. However if all parties are in agreement I would guess that possibly under 90 days.

If everything if everything is all ready divided and there are not dips in the road 30 days.She needs to figure out why he is waiting until May.That sounds fishy.good luck.

If there are no complications and they both gree it can be done in three or so months. Mine was done within 3 months
