Nope - we can reverse almost anything we want about ourselves. Maybe having the natural urge to cheat won't change, but we can change the outcome of whether we cheat or not, though. The decision is always 100% down to us, unless our brain is under the influence of some type of drug, or chemical.

I think so because you get addicted to it I guess, and you may never stop cheating. So once a cheater always a cheater is possibly true. I say possibly because some people feel guilty enough after the first time they cheat that they stop.
It's true only for some people then!
=D

Yep. My ex told me when we first got together that the reason she had broken up with her last boyfriend was because she cheated on him. We fell in love, she always promised me she would never cheat on me. We were together for 3 years and then she started banging somebody else. My friends warned me about her when we first got together. Told me "once a cheater always a cheater" Didnt think it was true now i know better.

I do believe that it's true. I have had some bad experiences with cheaters so I may be partial not to trust some people. The question you really need to ask yourself is do you love that person and does that person love you! I does no good if only one person in the relationship is committed, it takes two to tango.

i don't i was once a cheater, but i have never cheated again after the second time. cheating can become a habit, but its not true for all people, it happens when the person is in a immature and stupid time in their life but they don't have to continue that. i know i didn't

Not necessarily. If you have ever watched Reba, you can kind of get the picture.
The person could only cheat because they don't like the person they're with. Even though you should come clean, so the person cheated on won't find out the hard way.

People are capable of changing. Ramayana, Hindu religion book was written by Valmiki, who was a decoit. I am a good example of change. In school upto 9th grade we use to copy each other answer but in 10th grade we did not get a chance to do that and eversince I stopped cheating. becuase I gain confidence that I could answer myself.

People can and do change so no the saying is not absolute. owever, there is often the urge to fall back into old habits or ways. May do fall back to old ways and this is where the truth of the sayig comes from.
