We have Tornadoes dancing around in Kansas and Oklahoma, and hurricanes keep hitting us, and we got this earthquakes.... and FLOODS....

Why USA?

I don't hear about Europe got some bad flood and stuff...
I don't know.... It seems like other countries got hit by
bad storm every once a year.

Japan got some bad weather too.

And India with Tsunamis (sp?)

But still I think USA got the most bad weather.

How come Africa doesn't have Tornadoes and stuff?

Is God doing this to us?

What about Katrina, wow it slammed New Orleans so
HARD, wow.... how can we forget that?
Why New Orleans, why not other places.... how do
Katrina knows about New Orleans the well known wicked place?

The USA does get it pretty hard compared to many countries.

Europe does have problems such as the extensive floods in recent years, droughts last year and the heatwave a couple of years ago that killed upwards of 35,000 people.

Probably the country with the worst natural disasters is China. It has the record for the worst floods and worst earthquakes - 3.5 and 1.1 million deaths respectively. There have been quite a few instances of flooding in China in the last 100 years where the death toll has exceeded 100,000. Bangladesh also has devastating floods, in about 1970 1.1 million died in floods there.

Much of what happens on the far side of the world doesn't grab the headlines, it's not unusal for weather events to claim many lives and go completely unreported.

Here's an interesting thing - the UK has more tornadoes than the US, the difference is that they're small and only occasionally cause damage - nothing like the scale of even a small US tornado.

Africa has droughts and in recent years millions have died. The droughts aren't just confined to areas such as Ethiopia that make the news but many African countries. I was in West Africa a few months ago and much of the late maize harvest (they have an early and late harvest) was destroyed because of drought. Many people were starving.

Weather all around the world is getting worse. It is not God doing it. It is the result of the damage that humans themselves have done to the planet. We have abused the planet and now we are suffering the consequences of our actions.

The bible makes it clear that God does not cause bad things to happen to us. At James 1:13 it says: "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."

What is interesting is that the bible also tells of signs to watch for that would indicate that armageddon was drawing near.

Matthew 24:7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress...10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. ..14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come"

Also

2Timothy3:1-5:"3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power"

What you are seeing is the result of humans governing themselves without God's guidance.
