I want to put a message on a T-Shirt, using stencils or something similar, in large letters I want the front of my T-shirt to say "I am not ugly" and in the back I want to print "I am physicaly challenge"! there is a place in North Hollywood that can do it but they have a fifty (50) T-shirt minimum; Does anyone know of a business that will do only one (1) T-shirt or can someone tell me how to do it myself? thanks?

If you want it to look craft-challenged, use iron-on crayons from a craft store or quilting supply store on a light-toned T-shirt. You can mix color within the words and be more creative with the fonts.

Pencil the wording you want on light-weight paper, turn the paper over and heavily color the lettering on the *other* side of the paper. Put a paper bag into the middle of the shirt and position the first crayoned sheet crayon side down on the shirt. Iron (that's dry-iron, not steam-press) at the heat proper for the shirt being careful to not let the paper scoot about. Repeat with the other wording on the other side of the shirt. The paper bag keeps the wax from soaking all the way through the shirt.

Reading the full directions with the crayons is a good idea. This can be done with regular crayons, but it won't be as bright and won't survive as many launderings.

I like this method better than using acrylic paints, but that works too. If you want a dark shirt, it'll need individual iron-on letters or really heavy paint.

Double-check spelling to be certain it's exactly the way you intend it to be.

You can get iron on transfer paper at an office supply store, and print your own design off your computer to your printer. You then take the iron on design and iron it on your shirt. Make sure you print the lettering in REVERSE., so it will read the right way after it is ironed on.

ok so what you can do is buy this paper that is computer sized (you know regular printer sized paper) and go on your computer and type something up then print it and follow the directions on the box for w/e kind of paper you bought. its a certain type you can usually buy silk or a clear thing. o recommend the silk because you wont have to make your text mirror in order to iron it on. SO if you want to write it yourself i recommend jsut writing it and scanning it onto your computer. if you dont own a scanner do it at a friends hosue or the library and then email it to yourself. Good Luck!

They sell paper for putting words or images on cloth at walmart. It isn't expensive. Just create the image/words on your computer and print it out on the paper. If you follow the instructions you should do fine. I have done it and it works very well.

At craft stores you can also buy paint that will work well for drawing on T-shirts.
