Can the stomach flu and throwing up all the time mess up your period?

Yeah, if you get really ill, and you are vomiting all of your food intake, your body may be come so weak that you lose your period.

It actually depends on the person, and wheather their healthy or not. If you lose weight drastically while you have the stomach flu, then it can delay your period. People do get their period while their ill, it happens to me all the time. You will be fine, just make the right choices in what you eat. Good Luck and feel better.

If you throw up often, then yes. I know that bulimics and anorexics get messed up periods. So I mean it kinda goes hand in had. When you have the stomach flu you puke and don't eat (exept crackers). But it won't do anything permanent. Just a few days.

It may mess it up, if it's really bad. Did you know that it would make birth control pills less effective. So can diarrhea. Are you worried that you may be pregnant? If so get to a doc.
Try not to worry too much, as that can definitely mess up your period - the stress.

Yes illness and stress are two of the most commmon reasons someones period gets messed up.

Yes. I think the body knows one is sick, and compensates. Like your period slows down or stops. Until another time.

I always get my period when I am sick, so it doesn't for me.
