I have a pair of jeans that I really like, but they aren't as dark as I would like for them to be. I was wondering if anyone out there has ever had luck with fabric dye. I think I remember that you have to use hot water to get the dye to work. Will it shrink the jeans? Also, do you have to wash them seperately from all other clothes afterwards? Will the dye fade quickly?
Thanks in advance!

Can you tell me what product you like? I know about Rit, is there something better?

Denim takes dye very well. If they are old jeans, they won't shrink any further. Yes they will run the first few times. Washing them in cold water will lessen this. The dye will be in the jeans for quite some time. When they begin to fade again, dye them again.
