when I sing my throat feels all tight and cloggy. Am I breathing wrong or something? can any of you give me tips to help my vocal chords and voice ?

Before singing, clear your throat, perhaps with a glass of water. When you are singing, don't try to force out the best notes possible, if you are not a natural, you will never be. Just let the music fly out of your mouth at a comfortable rhythm. Best of luck.

If you haven't already, make sure you warm up, drink water, and sing from your diraphram. Research some wikihow-tos. They usually have good information. Tightning is usually from stress which means your using your throat.

As you sing more that will open up, unless you have some upper respiratory problem. Treat yourself like you are having a respiratory problem to see if that clears up.

breath in from your nose it is way better and lasts longer
