i seem to have this brownish blood/discharge that wont go away. i'll start off by saying, i'm not on the pill and im not sexually active. so i know im not pregnant or anything like that. i had my 4 wisdom teeth out march 14th. the week before i had my regular normal period. everything was fine. although it was lighter than usual but i wasnt gonna complain. last saturday this whole thing started. at 1st it seemed almost like a 2nd period. there was red blood and everything. and it was very light. like hardly there. what im having now is also very light. its only there when i use the bathroom and usually only when i wipe myself. sometimes theres a little in the toliet but hardly ever. im trying to figure out what this all is and how to stop it. i was on meds from my surgury and know that can mess things up and i was super stressed out about it too. i know stress plays a big part is messing things up too. it doesnt really bother me much. its just kind of annoying. i need some suggestions

This has happened to me before too. If it's not heavy, you could probably just wait it out and it will go away soon. However, (and I know you don't want to hear this) if it continues for another week or so, I do suggest you go see a doctor or call them (my doc takes calls and gives meds that way sometimes) because there are medications they can give you to make it stop, or they can determine if it is the medcation you've been on or something more serious like a cyst. But my guess is that your body probably is just messed up because of meds, etc. But just wait it out and see. Good luck!

Are you certain the blood is vaginal? Assuming that it is, it sounds like spotting to me. Spotting can be caused by a cycle in which you don't release an egg or your hormones are off. If it doesn't get really heavy, just wait out the cycle and see if everything is normal again next month.

You didn't mention what meds or what surgery you had. Do you mean wisdom teeth or some other surgery. That would make a difference (dental surgery wouldn't have any relation to the bleeding, but other types could.....)

But, if you need to see your doctor, why are you so against it?

hey, take your meds and read the side affects, if this appears to be one consult the surgeon that removed your wisdom tooth and ask if it is normal and if it is safe for you to continue on the medication. Try to reduce your stress level, some meditation and all, it may just be an irregular flow as a result from the medicine. then i would ask your mom or an aunt. then i have to say it go to the doctor. because always better safe than sorry!

stress could be causing the midcycle. medication can also cause it. just give it some time to get the after effects of the meds out of your system (and to get less stressed) and I'm sure it'll go away. It's pretty normal under stressful situations.

If it continues however, maybe it would be a good idea to see a doctor.

The medicine probably screwed with your cycle a little bit.

Don't worry about it. If you are that worried about it see a doctor.

Why ask such a personal question here and why won't you see a Dr? No one here is qualified to give you an answer and your question is gross to anyone not in the medical profession.

It doesn't sound like anything bad, just wait it out and see what happens.
