I believe in fairies.

Then the church people tell me I have to believe in Jesus too. If I say I believe in Jesus then they say I have to believe in the Holy Ghost too. It just goes on and on. There's no pleasing those people. They keep upping their demands.

You only have to believe what you want to. That is the free will of being human. Don't believe everything that you hear. And Don't force yourself to believe something you don't. Not fair to yourself, very confusing. Good Luck.

Why are you worried about what the church says. You are not suppose to believe in any church! The Bible, Jesus' Holy word is what you believe in. If you have Christ in you, He is in you, that is the Holy Ghost! The holy Ghost is His spirit inside of you.

I personally don't believe in a god. I feel there is something out there that means us goodwill. Only problem is that no one can really prove it to me. The Bible is just a book that can and could have been changed around so many times that who knows what the real true meaning is. I say believe in what you want and don't let others tell you otherwise. The people who say to believe in GOD and no one else should really worry about themselves and not anyone else. I always say that the harder they preach, means they did something baaaad and they are trying to fix it. Whose to say there is no such thing as fairies? I'm not going to why? Because I could care less as long as YOU ARE HAPPY!!!!

I'm not sure I follow. Let me try to catch up. You believe in faeries, so you can't believe in Jesus? Or you believe in faeries and can believe in only one more thing? April Fool! I'm obviously teasing you, but here is my take. Every human being has a set of beliefs. We are not all 'hard-wired' to believe in one set of things. I happen to believe in magic (no k I hate the k in magic!) and Jesus. I do not, however, subscribe to every hairbrained idea that the "holy Roman empire' demanded we follow. You can and must keep your own faith. That is what keeps us human.

I like this argument. No you don't have to. Especially if you are going solely off of proof. There have been pictures taken, though not many, of fairies, Ones that turned out to truly be something, I have never seen a picture of Jesus. And weird knots in trees and stuff like that does not count.

The truth is you can believe in anything you want as long as you believe in something.

Even atheists believe in something, they believe in the nonexistence of God. That is their faith.

A religion is, by definition, a set of beliefs. So in theory everyone could have a different religion and no one would be wrong because faith can't be proven, that's whats so great about it. That's why it's called faith.

The beautiful thing about Jesus is that He doesn't force you to believe in Him. He gives you the choice and hopes you will reach out for His salvation, His love, His forgiveness, His stand for the truth. He will use others to reveal Himself to you through your lifetime, but it's always your choice.

Assuming you live in the United States you are not required to believe anything. However, if you're attempting to be a part of a religious group it's natural that they would expect you to adhere to their belief system ortherwise there's no reason for you to be a part of the group.

God gives us free will to choose who or what we want to believe. He tells us of His promises and blessings that we will receive if we believe in Him. He also tells us of the troubles to come if we do not. But He still gives you the choice to believe what you want. It is you who will have to answer to Him when you die if you do not repent. (Ask for forgiveness and change from your behavior). Besides, what can a fairy do for you anyway?
