men and drinking, whats so special about it? going to pub for odd one yeh maybe but weekend binges, why!!

Yes i agree ith you compleatly on this one.I cannot imagine hy it has any benifit..drink like the french,Britian is ell kno for it,s drinking problem.i can think of great things to do ith my time and money than sit drinking pint anfter pint,it destroys families too!

I suppose it is because men work all week and find it relaxing to meet up with friends at the weekend for a drink and discuss what ails the world,one thing leads to another as do the drinks and there you have it.I am not defending it,it is just what happens.Unfortunately,there are some people who do not know when enough is enough.

Immaturity. Most guys will grow up and get over it. But some have the genetic makeup to be alcoholics and will be drunks for the rest of their lives unless they make a commitment (such as through AA) to stop drinking. And some will drink and drive or destroy their livers, and those will not live to outgrow it.

I'm getting sick of it...
Every week passes in work and then I spend all weekend drinking. I feel so tired and worn out by it all.
