We were really strapped for cash, but he wanted to do something nice. He took me to a state park and we had a picnic at a beautiful overlook. The picnic consisted of PBJ sandwiches and kool-aid. It was fall, and the leaves were in full change, but the weather hadn't turned cold yet. It was wonderful.

I wish he did more. I can't think of anything rencently.
But I guess just being a good father is the most romantic thing he has done lately. You should see him when he gets on all fours to play with the little kids, and he is coaching my oldest's softball team. But for me, he hasn't done anything lately.
According to all the answers, It looks like you men need to be more romantic!!! If your wife can't remember something you did to be romantic, then you need to make some memories!!!

He's just an everyday kind of worker-dude, an electrician. When we were married about 5 years I guess, the doorbell rang around suppertime, and there he was at the door - his arms totally full of wildflowers and beautiful grasses, about 3 feet all around. They had been near the area where he was working and he thought I might like them. Well, he was right.

There are many, here's two:
After we had a fight once he went out and spent 3 hours picking wild flowers. He came home with an armload.
My husband is not one for writing love notes and emotionally a man of few words. He once wrote me a love note on a Kleenex. Many years later, I still have it.
